Terme di Saturnia

Wellness as in Etruscan times

What could be more relaxing than a day at the spa surrounded by nature? This is what the Terme di Saturnia, a magical place on the outskirts of Grosseto, offers. The properties of the thermal water that springs from the heart of the Maremma have been known since Etruscan times.

You can enjoy all the comforts of the Saturnia Thermal Park, for a fee, where you can be pampered in whirlpools, vascular paths, mud baths and saunas. If you prefer a less glitzy but more authentic experience, take a dip in the natural pools of the Cascate del Mulino. This spa area, which is completely free of charge, consists of a series of small waterfalls that over the centuries have formed many limestone pools in which to bathe 24 hours a day. Here, there are no changing rooms, public showers or toilets, but relaxation is guaranteed.

The water at Terme di Saturnia and Cascate del Mulino has a temperature of 37.5 degrees, perfect for a visit, even in winter.
