The 54th edition of the Nitto ATP Finals will take place for the third consecutive year at the Pala Alpitour in Turin from 12 to 19 November 2023.
The facility, built for the 2006 Winter Olympics, will have a maximum capacity of more than 12,000 seats.
The programme includes the performance of 15 matches of singles and the same number of doubles divided into 15 game sessions: eight afternoons – between these two finals – and seven evenings.
The 19 best results will be calculated taking into account the following tests: - the four Grand Slam tournaments; - the eight mandatory ATP Masters 1000; - the best results obtained in other tournaments (Masters 1000 Monte-Carlo, ATP Cup, ATP 500, ATP 250, and ATP Challenger).
The hope of obviously having at least one Italian player on the field: in 2021, it was Matteo Berrettini who, after the injury against Zverev, was replaced by Sinner.
Tickets are already on sale on the website of the ATP Finals, while the programme for 2023 will also follow the usual pattern. From Sunday 12 to Saturday 18 November (round robin and semi-finals), an afternoon session is scheduled (starting at 12 noon, there is a doubles match and, not before 2.30 pm, a singles match) and an evening session (from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, starting at 6.30 pm there is a doubles match and, not before 9 pm, a singles match). On Friday, there is a doubles match at 6 pm and not before 8.30 pm, a singles match. On Sunday 19 November at 3 pm the doubles final is scheduled and, not before 6 pm, the singles final will also take place.
The eight qualifiers are placed in two round-robin tournaments: the first two in the standings face each other in the semifinals (the first of one group against the second of the other) and then in the final. The same mechanism also applies for the qualification of the 8 pairs of doubles.
On Piazzale Grande Torino, the Fan Village will be set up, a fully covered area of over 4,000 square metres where the facilities used for catering, entertainment and promotion of services and products of the partners will be hosted. In addition, it will be possible to follow the progress of the games as they unfold through dedicated maxi-screens.
