Labro

Overview

Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club

Stone houses and winding streets characterise the village of Labro, surrounded by a wide panorama of lakes and mountains, often snow-capped.

The fortified castle, dating back to the 10th century and built by the Nobili family, whose history is linked to battles fought with neighbouring castles during the Middle Ages, is well worth a visit. Battles, wars and earthquakes that have occurred here have not, however, undermined the identity of the village, which has managed to preserve its historical and architectural structure over time.

The local craft tradition and the various gastronomic products typical of the area can be discovered and enjoyed at the various events that take place throughout the year.
