From December 6th to 8th, 2025, Sauris di Sopra becomes a magical Christmas village for “In der Zahre seint de Bainachn – Christmas in Sauris”, an enchanting event filled with tradition, lights, and mountain scents. At the heart of the celebration is the Christmas Market, with charming wooden stalls offering local products, crafts, and alpine flavors scented with spices, cinnamon, and mulled wine. On Sunday, December 7th at 4:30 PM, the Christmas tree will be lit on the Plotze slope, accompanied by the traditional Star Songs, passed down for generations. Children will enjoy creative workshops, letter-writing with Santa’s elves, and meet the horses from the Khlope riding stable. New this year: a moonlit hike to Mount Morgenleit and a festive Christmas treasure hunt for families and friends. “In der Zahre seint de Bainachn” is more than just a market – it’s a true alpine Christmas celebration, where time slows down, and every detail tells a story. |
