After the extraordinary success of its first three venues in Bologna, Milan and Rome, which attracted more than 80,000 visitors, the acclaimed exhibition dedicated to Jack Vettriano arrives in Trieste. The exhibition celebrates the artistic legacy of Jack Vettriano (Fife, 17 November 1951 – Nice, 1 March 2025), one of the most beloved and widely recognised painters among Italian and international audiences.
From 29 October 2026 to 2 May 2027, the atmospheric setting of the Salone degli Incanti, located at Riva Nazario Sauro 1, will host a remarkable selection of works retracing the life, artistic development and outstanding career of the recently deceased painter.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the work of one of the best-selling and most widely reproduced artists of all time through an exhibition comprising more than eighty works. The display includes eight oil paintings, a selection of unique-edition works on museum-quality paper produced specifically for the exhibition, a video tribute dedicated to the artist, and a series of evocative photographs taken in Jack Vettriano’s studio by Francesco Guidicini, renowned portrait photographer for The Sunday Times, whose works are held in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London.
