Corno alle Scale

Overview

A jewel in the crown of Bologna’s ski region.

The Corno alle Scale is a mountain standing 1,945 meters above sea level. It is home to a renowned ski resort and natural park located in the province of Bologna.
This area is of great environmental interest, so much so that in 1988 it was officially named Corno alle Scale Regional Park to protect and transform an area spanning about 5,000 hectares in the municipality of Lizzano in Belvedere.

The Regional Park reflects the environmental importance of the region as it is home to several areas that are incredibly interesting from a geological and mineralogical point of view. The park also contains an abundance of flora and fauna, making it an ideal destination for skiers, hikers who love to walk in the open air, and cyclists.

While visiting Corno alle Scale you can also admire several lakes and ponds tucked away in the park, making them the perfect place to relax and admire the unique view.
Whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, snowshoeing or playing in the baby park, everyone is guaranteed to have a fun day out at Corno alle Scale!
