Overview
Enclosed in the territory of the Cilento Park, on the Gulf of Policastro, we find Scario, a small hamlet of the municipality of San Giovanni a Piro, a seaside village where the landscape and nature represent the heart of its essence. It is from the harbour that one sets off on various excursions to unspoilt and magical places, including Punta degli Infreschi. Moreover, the coast is dotted with mysterious karstic caves, coves that can only be reached by sea and imposing watchtowers, ancient sentinels defending the territory. Here the flora and marine fauna are extremely rich, treasures to be admired, and the scarce urbanization has allowed this place to remain in close contact with nature and especially with the sea, its soul since the beginning of time.
