Overview
Since 1872. The Theater was built on a garden of orange and lemon trees, and later dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Giacosa. It is made up of an auditorium and three tiers of boxes. It has a capacity of over 900 seats and benefits from a very large stage and extraordinary acoustics.
Where the first city Palepoli is thought to have arisen, the Politeama opens to the Neapolitans with all sorts of shows. The curtains have risen on operas, concerts, popular dramas, and tours of the most talented Italian and foreign actors.
