Mostra d'Oltremare

Overview

An exhibition and trade centre in the heart of Naples

A modern complex opened in 2014, Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples is one of the largest exhibition centres in southern Italy, as well as in Italy as a whole.

Designed by architects Cocchia and Piccinato, the centre is located in a monumental 20th-century area in the heart of the City of Naples. It features many buildings of considerable historical-architectural interest, as well as exhibition pavilions, fountains, a tropical aquarium, gardens with a vast variety of tree species and an archaeological park.

The exhibition centre is also brought to life by its wooded park, which boasts tall trees and Mediterranean and tropical species of flora that were imported in the 1940s from overseas, offering locals, tourists and exhibitors the opportunity to enjoy a small corner of green paradise.

Mostra d’Oltremare hosts a busy annual calendar of trade fairs, congresses and cultural events, including exhibitions, concerts and shows. It is also an important centre for sports and leisure activities.
