Overview
Armonie D'Arte Festival is the summer travelling event dedicated to the performing arts. The brainchild of artistic director, Chiara Giordano, the festival represents one of the most interesting national cultural realities dedicated to the intersection between the arts and the enhancement of heritage.
An effective attractor of the public in extraordinarily fascinating Calabrian locations, starting from the National Archaeological Park of Scolacium (Borgia, CZ) where it all began, passing through itinerant appointments involving sea, mountains and historic villages.
What's new this year? First of all, there are two different programmes with different content, but with the same emotional and conceptual mood of the macro-theme and its annual variations. Inside, there are also cross-cutting sections entirely dedicated to the territories and locations of Soverato, Borgia, Serra San Bruno, Catanzaro, Cosenza and Reggio Calabria.
There are also two different editorial lines: ARMONIE D'ARTE - NEW ROUTES and ARMONIE D'ARTE OFF & POP! The first confirms the historical identity of the festival, its vocation in the non-commercial and more niche cultural sphere, and its focus on the highest profile, even daring, national and international artistic offerings. The second, new to this edition, offers a lighter, more transversal and broader audience dimension. In short, as the title suggests, ‘Off’ because it is outside the historical programme of the Festival and ‘Pop’ because of the profile of the repertoires and artists involved.
