Overview
The Coppa degli Assi returns to Palermo, one of the most prestigious equestrian events in Italy, celebrating its 40th edition in 2025. With over fifty-five years of history, it is the second oldest and longest-running international show jumping competition in the country, second only to Piazza di Siena.
Officially recognized by the FEI – Fédération Équestre Internationale, the event will take place over two consecutive weekends, from September 26 to 28 and from October 2 to 5, 2025, in the stunning setting of the show jumping arena in Palermo’s Parco della Favorita, considered one of the most beautiful in the world for its technical and scenic qualities.
Organized by the Istituto Incremento Ippico per la Sicilia, the Coppa degli Assi attracts top-level riders from Italy and abroad each year, competing in international show jumping events.
It is a must-see event for equestrian sports enthusiasts and families alike, offering the thrill of a noble and spectacular discipline set against the natural and historical beauty of one of the largest urban parks in Europe.
