Tibetan Bridge

Overview

What makes the village of Castelsaraceno an international tourist attraction is the world's longest Tibetan bridge, a futuristic single-span work built in 2021, connecting the ancient village to the slopes of Mount Raparo. Approximately 600 metres long suspended in the void, 80 metres high above the canyon carved by the Racanello stream, more than 1,000 sleepers on which you walk like a tightrope walker. Crossing it is an exciting experience that allows you to enjoy the landscape and unspoilt surroundings, but safe and suitable for everyone, even children. You proceed harnessed, and the bridge, thanks to a system of tie rods that hook it to the mountain, does not swing. Access to the bridge and its 1160 steps is possible every day of the year, even in wintertime when you have to wear gloves because the ropes to hold on to become icy. Possibility of booking directly online.
