This beautiful Baroque residence, with vaulted ceilings frescoed at the beginning of the 17th century by Umbrian and Tuscan painters, bears witness to the political, civil and religious evolution of the city. Among the most valuable works in the collection are *Madonna Enthroned with Child* attributed to Giotto and the *Virgin and Child*, detached from Porta San Giacomo and attributed to the young Perugino.
