Pevero Beach

Overview

Glamour on the Costa Smeralda®

When one speaks of the Pevero beach, two beaches are being referred to: the Grande Pevero and the Piccolo Pevero. Both are within the gulf of the same name, in the municipality of Arzachena, a few kilometres from Porto Cervo, in the north-east of Sardinia.

The Grande Pevero is a wide crescent, about 300 metres long. It is one of the most glamorous beaches in the world, as evidenced by the numerous residences and luxurious villas. Behind it is the La Patima pond with a famous golf course, while offshore one can admire the group of islets of Li Nibani.

The Piccolo Pevero is on the other hand, is located in the central part of the gulf, is about half the size of the Grande and is a true enchantment of nature. The sand here is light and fine and the seawater is transparent with shades ranging from blue to green. The particularities of this beach are as diverse as the presence of low dunes and rich vegetation - especially fragrant junipers - and granite rocks surrounding it.

To appreciate the colours and nature of this part of the Costa Smeralda® even more, the advice is to follow the Pevero Health Trail, a trekking and mountain biking route that winds its way through coves and Mediterranean maquis.
