Biccari

Overview

A small, pretty village in the Subappennino Dauno area, Biccari stands in a borderland near Campania. The village is a small treasure set in a treasure chest of verdant nature, amidst still unspoilt and wild landscapes, such as the natural area of Lake Pescara and the Cerasa Forest, which lies at the foot of the region's highest peak, Mount Cornacchia.

Here it is possible to make a special excursion, which allows you to penetrate the greenery enough to catch a glimpse of the last wolves of Apulia, elegant and precious animals that are unfortunately disappearing faster and faster from our lands.

Not to be missed, however, is also the historic centre, fascinating and evocative with its narrow streets and historic buildings.
