Carovilli

Carovilli lies among the green heights of Molise, in the midst of a gentle and wild nature of great charm. Near the village there is a very interesting natural area for those in search of a deep contact with the land and its treasures. This is the Selva di Castiglione Oasis, which preserves a beautiful forest of turkey oaks and silver firs inhabited by various species of fauna, including fallow deer, foxes and wolves. Among the artistic and architectural beauties, the House of Santo Stefano Lupo, protector of the town, the Church of San Damiano, the 18th-century Parish Church, and the Church of San Nicola sul Colle, now an exceptional location for theatrical and musical events during the summer season, are worth visiting.
