On Friday 20 March at 9:00 p.m., the Teatro Persiani will host the Winners' Concert of the second edition of the International Opera Competition "Tebaldi Gigli Corelli", an event of international standing dedicated to promoting young operatic talent. The evening will feature the three prize-winning artists: Elizaveta Shuvalova (soprano, First Prize), Maria Olimpia Renna (soprano, Second Prize) and Andrés Sánchez Joglar (tenor, Third Prize), selected by a distinguished jury chaired by Dominique Meyer. The young performers stood out for vocal quality, stage presence and artistic maturity, confirming the high standard achieved by the competition. They will be accompanied by the FORM – Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, conducted by Maestro David Crescenzi — one of Italy's leading symphonic ensembles, long committed to promoting music and emerging talent both nationally and internationally. The initiative forms part of a broader programme dedicated to celebrating Italy's great operatic tradition and the cultural heritage of the Marche region, paying tribute to Beniamino Gigli, Renata Tebaldi and Franco Corelli, and reaffirming Recanati as a symbolic centre of operatic culture. The International Opera Competition "Tebaldi Gigli Corelli", organised by the Consorzio Marche Spettacolo, involved more than one hundred singers from around the world, offering an important opportunity for artistic exchange, training and growth. The Winners' Concert represents the culminating and celebratory moment of the competition, open to the public and the wider community. During the evening, the prestigious Beniamino Gigli Memorial Prize will be awarded.
