Overview
3 km from the town, along a diversion from State Road 38 to Còlico, the 15th-century sanctuary stands tall on a spur, introduced by a 17th-century portico and a Gothic portal adorned with a white marble lunette, attributable to the Rodari brothers; it preserves 16th-century frescoes. All around, terraced vineyards from which the prized Sassella wine, a sub-denomination of the Valtellina Superiore DOCG, is made.
