The Rapallo Golf and Tennis Club is one of the major points of attraction for sports enthusiasts in Liguria. This large modern facility is located near Rapallo’s historic centre, in a vast green area crossed by the Boate stream.
The golf course, designed in 1929 and inaugurated two years later, is renowned in the world of Italian golfing. It is a location surrounded by nature where you can relax with your family and friends and put your skills to the test on the vast 18-hole course that spans a total area of 45 hectares. The first nine holes date back to the foundation of the club, while the other nine date back to the late 1960s and complete what is a very challenging course, notorious even among the most experienced golfers.
The large golfing area has been expanded over the years with the addition of five clay tennis courts, artificially lit and open every day until 11 pm for some after-work exercise.
And if you’re new to these sports, there are lessons available, organised by the excellent school hosted by the Club – a place where sport can be combined with hours of relaxation and socialising in the elegant and historic Club House.
