Overview
Blue lakes of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines
Nestled in the green Tuscan-Emilian Apennines is the small village of Cerreto Laghi. Belonging to the municipality of Collagna, the village owes its name to the presence of small lakes scattered throughout the surrounding area, which interrupt the dense Apennine vegetation with stretches of water.
Cerreto Laghi is the perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in long hikes, whether on foot, mountain bike or horseback. Numerous itineraries branch out from the village, such as the Monte Alto walk, the path leading to Cima Belfiore or the one leading to the source of the Secchia river.
Although it is less famous than the ski resorts dotting the Alps, Cerreto Laghi has over time become an important reference point for winter sports enthusiasts in central-northern Italy thanks to its four ski lifts and more than 25 kilometres of ski slopes.
