Unipol Arena

Overview

Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) is the largest and most modern indoor complex for events in Italy. Designed by the Sabatini Group on the model of Europe's largest and most prestigious cultural and sports centres - from the O2 in London to the Beaubourg in Paris, the Unipol Arena is structured with modular spaces able to accommodate up to 20,000 people. The facility is strategically located in the metropolitan area of Bologna, just 2 km from the Casalecchio di Reno motorway exit and 8 km from G. Marconi Airport. The facility can be reached in 15 minutes by train directly from Bologna Central Station. It has a parking area of 60,000 square metres, with 5,000 parking spaces. The Arena offers space for conventions, concerts, TV sets, exhibitions and fairs, galas, political conventions, theatre performances, cultural events, competitions and sporting events.
