Pollino Bike Festival 2026

Once again this year, enthusiasts of nature cycling will gather in Campotenese, where the Pollino Bike Festival, the two-wheeled event that promotes cycle tourism in the heart of Europe's largest mountain area, returns on 6 and 7 June.

The festival has been conceived by Catasta, a tourist hub and gateway to the Pollino National Park, as well as the bike point for the Pollino Cycle Route. This monumental structure, built from a ‘pile’ of tree trunks, provides all the information you need (as well as unmissable traditional dishes and local products) to make the most of your cycling experience along the Park’s trails.

The Pollino Bike Festival programme includes a series of events aimed at cycling enthusiasts, as well as hikers, mountain lovers, foodies, children and explorers. The programme includes hiking and cycling excursions with the Park's official guides, mountain bike races for children, and tastings and lunches featuring specialities and typical products from the Pollino National Park

Now in its fourth edition, the festival is organised in partnership with the Marathon degli Aragonesi, run by ASD Ciclistica di Castrovillari, and constitutes the sixth stage of the Trofeo dei Parchi Naturali. The Marathon, which will be based at Catasta, will take place on 7 June and, once again this year, will also attract mountain bikers from other regions, keen to compete in the Pollino area.
