Roccaraso Ski Pass Alto Sangro Siafas

Overview

A fantastic destination all year round

The Mountain Community of Alto Sangro and Altopiano delle Cinquemiglia, most of which lies within the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, is united in a single tourism system: we’re talking about the Roccaraso SkiPass Alto Sangro Siafas. This ski resort brings together all the ski lift operators in the area and unites the municipalities of Roccaraso, Rivisondoli, Pescocostanzo, Pescasseroli, Barrea and Castel di Sangro.

Its location and climate make Alto Sangro one of the places where the ski season lasts the longest and where fun is guaranteed, thanks to the wide range of trails available. For alpine skiing enthusiasts, the area has 140 kilometres of slopes, 7 gondola lifts, 19 chair lifts, and 15 ski lifts and surface lifts. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing on the gentler slopes, while the Pesco Snowpark is located near the base of the Pescocostanzo Vallefura lifts, served by the Valle Gelata two-seater chairlift. Snowkiting, which involves people using kite power to glide on the snow with skis or a snowboard, can also be practised in the area, while snowshoeing is offered in the more pristine areas.

In the summer, you can explore the area thanks to bicycle tours and atmospheric night walks. There are also plenty of paths for younger walkers, with easy trails for children of all ages, and several pet-friendly areas.
