Overview

Il Museo dedicato al Lupo Appenninico è ospitato in una ex stalla nei pressi del Centro Visite del Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo, situato a Civitella Alfedena, a due chilometri da Villetta Barrea. Nelle sue sale, arricchite da un’estesa documentazione sull’animale, è possibile ammirare uno scheletro ricostruito, un lupo imbalsamato e il diorama di una tana. Oltre al personale sempre pronto a fornire ulteriori informazioni ai visitatori, al suo interno spiccano infatti ricchi pannelli illustrativi che descrivono le abitudini di vita del lupo appenninico e indicano i sentieri per raggiungere le due aree protette.
