Overview
The small hamlet of Anterselva di Sopra is located at the bottom of the Valle di Anterselva, a side valley of the Val Pusteria.
Lake Anterselva is surrounded by the imposing and often snow-capped mountains of the Vedrette di Ries - Aurina Nature Park.
In winter, at almost 1600 meters above sea level, the place is covered in an enchanting blanket of snow which promises all winter sports enthusiasts unforgettable adventures.
Today, in Anterselva di Sopra there is a sports center of global importance. This was made possible due to the foresight of one citizen who with passion and a love for Biathlon pursued his dream – which is now a reality.
Anterselva is internationally known and respected as the headquarters for cross-country skiing and Biathlon.
