Porto San Paolo

Overview

Where water sports enthusiasts can really get stuck in

Porto San Paolo is a little seaside town in the north-eastern part of Sardinia, about 15 kilometres from Olbia. Here you can enjoy a beautiful coastline overlooking the Gulf of Olbia and the Gulf of Congianus, with a plethora of white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters of outstanding natural beauty. Among the most popular coves are Porto Taverna, Cala Girgolu and Spiaggia del Dottore, all of which have clear turquoise waters, almost always calm, and unspoilt nature. This is also the ideal starting point for excursions to discover the natural beauty of the area, such as the headland of Capo Coda Cavallo or theIsland of Tavolara.

At the small marina, where you can hire boats and dinghies to explore the surrounding coast, you can also enjoy a variety of thrilling water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing or diving.

The town centre offers many restaurants, bars and shops, where you can buy local produce and sample local delicacies, such as panada and Gallura soup.
