la Tuerredda

Overview

An idyllic beach sheltered from the wind

A sea that rivals the Caribbean, golden sand and the intoxicating scent of the Mediterranean scrubland. You are sure to fall in love at first sight with the beach of Tuerredda.

This strip of sand, about 500 metres long, stretches out in an inlet between Cape Malfatano and Cape Spartivento. Its unique location keeps it sheltered from north-westerly winds and ensures that the sea that is always calm, making it perfect for inexperienced swimmers, children and snorkellers.

You can hire a small boat or get ready to enjoy a nice swim and head to Tuerredda Island, a small island a few hundred metres from the beach. All around, the landscape is typical of southern Sardinia: the dense Mediterranean scrubland makes this little corner of paradise the ideal destination for anyone seeking tranquillity and silence.
