Overview
The ancient capital of the Duchy of Da Varano, Camerino is a historical town with a great cultural tradition, so much so that its University was founded in the Middle Ages. The town stands on a hill, between the Chienti and Potenza valleys, nestled between the Sibillini Mountains and Mount San Vicino: its position gives it the privilege of a hilly landscape of great charm, where cultivated fields and small woods alternate.
