Overview
In that enchanting hilly area of Lombardy that is the Oltrepò Pavese, amidst gentle hills, woods of rare beauty and roads that offer glimpses and views to leave you breathless, lies the small village of Montesegale. Many hamlets dotting the hills like wild holes, all dominated by the ancient castle that, from the hill on which it stands, controls and oversees the entire territory: its fortified walls are still perfectly preserved and inside are buildings from different eras. Today it houses an interesting Museum of Contemporary Art.
