Overview
Castelponzone is a small hamlet in the municipality of Scandolara Ravara, a village where time seems to have stopped when the countryside was the centre of life in every Lombard village. Everything here tells of the close relationship that has always linked the inhabitants of the village with agriculture: the fields that change colour season after season; the simple architecture composed mainly of porticoes, barns and stables; the distant horizon where at sunset farm machinery raises clouds of dust that play with the light. The old town centre also enchants with its simplicity, and under the arcades of the main street it is easy to imagine the old shops and let yourself be carried away by the timeless atmosphere at every step.
