Overview
Lombardy conceals small, unexpected treasures, jewels of history and nature to be discovered by following roads that take us far from the big cities, towards the heart of the countryside. A few minutes from Lake Garda, if we enter the green and welcoming countryside of Mantua, we find the small fortified village of Castellaro Lagusello, in the municipality of Monzambano. Passing through the gateway to the town in the imposing Guelph walls, we enter a magical place, amidst alleys paved with fume stones and rustic houses, until we encounter the historic Clock Tower, the Baroque church of San Nicola and Villa Arrighi Tacoli. Outside the walls, a beautiful heart-shaped lake awaits us, where the village is reflected in plays of light and timeless atmospheres.
