Trevignano Romano is the most welcoming town on the clear and quiet Lake Bracciano. It is located within the regional park, which also includes the Martignano basin, an ideal habitat for many species of marsh birds.
The small and interesting Municipal Museum, located on the ground floor of the Town Hall, houses various finds from the three necropolises behind the town. Also worth a visit is the Rocca degli Orsini (dating back to 1200), a destination for lovers and romantics, who especially come here at sunset to enjoy the view of the lake and its villages, above the rooftops of the village.
