Matusa Park

Overview

Situated on the slopes of the hill on which the historic centre of Frosinone stands and along the valley of the Cosa river, Matusa Park is one of the largest public parks built in Italy in recent years. The result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Frosinone and the Academy of Fine Arts, the park is a wonderful urban regeneration initiative.

Approximately two and a half hectares of green space saved from overdevelopment, housing equipment and games to allow citizens to enjoy a space for socialising and recreation in the city centre: whether for a regenerating jog, a relaxing bike ride or a stroll, here it is possible to combine leisure time with life in the open air.

An open and usable space for all, therefore, opening its doors to families, young people, the elderly and children.
