In the former chapel of San Michele, located next to the cathedral, five of the almost forty mummies that have been found in Venzone over the centuries are on display. The first discovery, which involved the mummy called "the Hunchback", dates back to 1647. These bodies, originally buried in the tombs inside the cathedral, were mummified due to the formation of a special mould, the Hypha bombicina pers. These mummies are of exceptional anthropological interest.
