Overview
The Arbëreshë Folk Museum of Cerzeto, in the San Giacomo district, is a collection of artefacts from the Italian-Albanian ethnic and linguistic minority of the Arbëreshë, who settled in southern Italy and the islands. The exhibits were carefully assembled by Carmine Stamile, who over the course of forty years has collected a fascinating array of traditional clothing, kitchen utensils and work tools such as looms, school benches and other everyday items that tell the history and culture of the Arbëreshë people.
