Overview
The Caccuri Literary Prize is one of the main literary prizes in the region and takes place every year in the medieval village of the same name in the province of Crotone.
Among The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, Caccuri, the literary prize and related events await you from 27 July to 10 August for a high-profile artistic and cultural experience: an event entirely dedicated to national non-fiction, flanked by the "Dialects on stage" review/theatre competition and a series of special awards also in the fiction, journalism, music and economics sections.
The finalists for the 2025 (XIV) edition of the Caccuri Prize? Monica Maggioni, Gad Lerner, Alessandro Sallusti e Gennaro Sangiuliano.
The village of Caccuri prepares all year round to host the prestigious Caccuri Literary Prize, a summer event of national importance, during which it is possible to visit the historic centre and its symbolic places: from the iconic Caccuri Castle, with its precious Palatine Chapel, to the park of the Municipal Villa, passing through the Abbey of Santa Maria del Soccorso.
