Until August 23, Mont’Alfonso sotto le stelle ("Mont’Alfonso Under the Stars") takes the stage — a festival for lovers of hiking trails, silent peaks, and unspoiled nature.

This sixth edition features special guests such as Stefano Bollani, Fiorella Mannoia, Stefano Massini, Angelo Branduardi, Cristiano De André, The Kolors, Maurizio Lastrico, Filippo Graziani, Abbadream, Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, Cesare Picco, Canto Libero, Andrea Satta, and Francesco Repice.
Mont’Alfonso sotto le stelle 2025 opens the doors of its "salon" in Piazza Luigi Carli, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, for a series of preview events with free admission.

Based on the book of the same name published by Pacini Fazzi, "La Resistenza in Lucchesia – Tales and Chronicles of the Anti-Fascist Struggle" is the play presented by Arca Azzurra on Thursday, July 24.
On Friday, July 25, journalist Francesco Repice takes the audience on a journey through unforgettable moments in sports with the show "See You on the Radio".
On Monday, July 28, Stefano Massini explores the world of Ariosto: the storyteller, director, and playwright will guide us through the universe of Orlando Furioso, filled with wandering knights, enchanted moons, and reflections on power and the human soul.

The festival continues with performances at Fortezza di Mont'Alfoso, and one evening at the Fortezza delle Verrucole in San Romano in Garfagnana (July 31).
Notable events include: stand-up comedian and actor Maurizio Lastrico (August 2), Cristiano De André with "De André Canta De André – Best Of Tour" (August 6), Stefano Bollani with his Piano Solo Tour (August 9), Fiorella Mannoia accompanied by the Saverio Mercadante Symphony Orchestra from Altamura (August 11).

A must-see is the traditional Ferragosto sunrise concert (August 15 at 4:45 AM), featuring pianist and composer Cesare Picco and his tribute to Keith Jarrett’s legendary performance.
