Bruneck

Overview

A fairytale town in which to discover South Tyrolean authenticity

Bruneck, the gem of the Pustertal valley, is a lively town. Here, the authenticity of Alto Adige is combined with an international atmosphere made up of excellent infrastructure, accommodation to suit all budgets, dreamy landscapes and a varied cultural offer that makes it possible to never get bored.

The historic centre of Bruneck looks like something out of a fairytale: the imposing castle dominates the town from the top of its hill. The ancient city gates lead within a few steps to the elegant Via Centrale, where small shops selling typical South Tyrolean products alternate with shops selling big international brands, cafés and wine bars in which to enjoy a few moments of relaxation before discovering the natural wonders surrounding Bruneck.

The Plan de Corones stands a few kilometres from the centre, with its characteristic panettone shape and the most famous ski area in South Tyrol, with a total of 120 kilometres of slopes and 32 lifts. During the warmer times of the year, the entire area surrounding Bruneck turns into a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers.
