Syracuse DOC: wine and baroque by the sea

- The journey begins in Syracuse, where local and international grapes give rise to unique wines. Among the finest labels are Syracuse Moscato, also in passito or spumante versions, and reds based on Nero d'Avola and Syrah.
-A stroll through Ortigia, Baroque churches and the market is a must, before a tasting at a local winery. Let yourself be guided by the scents and stories of the winemakers. In the evening, continue on to Noto.
Noto DOC: between baroque and aromatic grapes

- Noto is one of the capitals of Sicilian Baroque, but also of wine: the famous Moscato di Noto (pure) and reds such as Noto Nero d'Avola are born here.
-Visit the city with its architectural wonders and indulge in a wine tasting at one of the area's wineries. You can pair the wines with local cheeses, preserves, cunzato bread and traditional desserts.
-For nature lovers, a detour to Noto Antica or Cavagrande del Cassibile enriches the day.
DOC Eloro: the red heart of Sicily

- The itinerary continues south to the towns of Pachino, Rosolini, Ispica and Portopalo di Capo Passero, where some of Sicily's most intense reds are produced: Eloro Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Pignatello and Eloro Pachino.
- Here the warm, sunny climate gives the wines structure and intensity. In summer, enjoy a walk on the area's wild beaches or a visit to an olive oil mill. End the day with a dinner of local products accompanied by an Eloro Rosato.
Vittoria DOCG: the kingdom of Cerasuolo

- Stop in the Vittoria area, the island's only DOCG, famous for Cerasuolo di Vittoria, a blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato.
- From cherry red to floral fragrance to complex aged notes, this wine tells the identity of the area.
- Visit a winery to discover the stages of winemaking and relax in the vineyards. You can also explore the surrounding countryside or visit Ragusa Ibla for a combination of wine and art.
Riesi DOC: excellence in the heart of Sicily

- Last stop: Riesi, in the heart of Sicily. Here the landscape changes and production is varied: from Riesi red (Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon) to Riesi white (Ansonica and Chardonnay), via rosé, sparkling and late harvest versions.
- It is an area where tradition meets innovation. A visit to a local winery and the discovery of the typical cuisine of the nisseno area is recommended. The journey ends with the perfect toast: an elegant and surprising wine.
