Overview
Places of the heart, authentic and strongly identifiable places can still be found among the valleys and heights of Piedmont, which hides in some wonderful corners unique villages such as Usseaux. Here we are welcomed by the old stone and wooden houses that are covered in colourful flowers in spring, the cobbled streets, but above all by the ancient traditions and rhythms that have remained those of the past, slow, on a human scale. Here, in winter, people can still find themselves in the typical barrel-vaulted stables, now converted into taverns, to sing, tell stories, eat together and share a glass of wine, as was the case in centuries past.
