Overview
The Imponente Teatro, whose construction was the artwork of architect Cosimo Morelli from Imola, opened its doors to the public on 26 September 1790. Since then, for over two hundred years, it has been one of the most important centres of cultural activity in the Marche region. It has one hundred and twenty-four boxes on five tiers framing the stalls, guaranteeing a total capacity of about one thousand people.
