Pinacoteca di Brera - A treasure chest of art.

The masterpieces of Venetian, Lombard and Tuscan masters of art in the magical setting of Palazzo di Brera.

The Art Gallery is located in enormous Palazzo di Brera together with the Braidense National Library, the Brera Observatory, the Botanical Garden, the Lombard Institute of Sciences and Letters and the Academy of Fine Arts. It is essentially a gallery of pictorial art with a large collection of works of Venetian, Lombard, Tuscan and more generally Central Italian painting. The Gallery is home to great masterpieces, including works by Tintoretto, Tiepolo, Piero della Francesca and Caravaggio. The museum also boasts a wonderful collection of paintings by the great artists of the XX century.
