You can experience an unconventional and timeless atmosphere at the Provaglio-Timoline railway station. This station serves the Brescia municipalities of Provaglio d’Iseo and Timoline, a hamlet of Corte Franca. The station building fell into disuse in 1989, but it has recently been redeveloped and converted into a unique cultural centre. Managed by a local association, it is ready to suggest a wide range of cultural and environmental activities in addition to the normal bar and dining services.
Why not visit the nearby Torbiere del Sebino? This attractive nature reserve is characterised by marshy, swampy terrain with reeds and placid stretches of water, boasting spectacularly colourful sunrises and sunsets and much more besides.
