Deiva Marina

Overview

Deiva Marina is one of the best-equipped towns on the wild La Spezia coastline. Here, the holiday rhymes above all with the sea: uncontaminated and populated seabed, cliffs and almost 'wild' beaches, but also numerous hotels overlooking the beach and bathing establishments. And in the restaurants, fish reigns supreme, with some delicacies such as fish ravioli and fish alla ligure. The old village is characterized by narrow alleys and pastel-coloured houses typical of Ligurian architecture. The church of Sant'Antonio Abate is the heart of the historical centre and the quadrangular Saracen Tower can be admired right in front of it. Among the hamlets dotting the hills is Passano with its castle dominating the Valdeiva. One can take pleasant walks along the paths of a fascinating and evocative hinterland.
