Marta

Overview

Overlooking Lake Bolsena, Marta is a charming village in the province of Viterbo and an hour and a half from Rome.

Its medieval architecture, small streets and narrow houses around the walls, make Marta one of the villages of Alta Tuscia that attracts more tourists from all over Italy and also from Northern Europe.

The main attraction for those arriving in Marta is undoubtedly Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Italy and one of the most beautiful in Lazio, which has always influenced the nature, culture and food and wine traditions of the village.
