Roviano

Roviano is part of the metropolitan city of Rome, Roviano, but looking at it you realise that the only real protagonist of its identity is nature. Perched on a hill, about 500 metres above sea level, it stands close to the Sant'Elia mountain, which dominates the landscape with its grandeur. The panorama that surrounds it is enchanting: among woods of chestnut, oak and beech trees, one can take regenerating walks immersed in the colours of the many flowers that make these places even more special. The symbol of its history is the Castle, built in the year 1000 and enlarged and remodelled several times: inside, guarded like a precious secret, you can admire the frescoes dedicated to the "Judith and Holofernes" cycle.
