Excitement and relaxation: family holidays in water parks
1. Veneto: Caribe Bay
The delightful Caribbean atmosphere of this 80,000 square metre park in Lido di Jesolo, not far from Venice, is matched by white sand, palm trees and banana leaf umbrellas surrounded by waterfalls, rocks and sea caves. Echoes of the Maya civilization, pirates and galleons are joined by the thrill of bungee jumping overlooking the water, mammoth slides and exciting water games, while also enjoying acrobatic water performances. There is even a mini-golf course where young and old can play together.
2. Friuli: Aquasplash
The enormous variety of water slides is the strong point at this park in Lignano Sabbiadoro, with every imaginable shape, height and size, each with its own special features to be enjoyed. There are also many swimming pools, breath-taking water chutes and swirling spirals, as well as relaxation in the whirlpools and the picnic area equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The park is highly recommended for families since it has so many games and slides also suitable for children.
3. Emilia Romagna: Aquafan
The M280 super slide is the season's new attraction at Aquafan in Riccione: an exciting experience for four on an inflatable tubbie sliding down from a start height of 20 metres for 280 meters in 150 seconds. The new slide joins the many others already installed, the huge wave pool and numerous, spectacular water games. The park is always animated by the involvement of Radio Deejay organizing live broadcasts as well as events, shows and concerts. There are three areas specifically for children with swimming pools, slides and water games where the depth never exceeds 50 cm.
4. Tuscany: Acqua Village
Hawaiian atmospheres for the twin parks in Cecina and Follonica: guests are welcomed by volcanoes, waterfalls, islands and lagoons, as well as snacks, drinks, show cooking and themed grills. Both are characterized by a large number of imaginative and technological slides: with fire, flying, musical and rafting themes or enclosed in darkness. There are also many different swimming pools, with fun waves, water games, whirlpools and sensory showers. The Children's Islands have specific, kid-sized attractions.
5. Apulia: Egnazia Aquapark
This park in Monopoli, near Bari, has a wonderful holiday atmosphere. The areas for adults and children are animated by an entertainment service at all times of day to involve everyone in the fun. The swimming pools for adults have giant waves and rivers taken slowly in a rubber dinghy, exciting slides and relaxing whirlpools, group dances and water aerobics lessons. Children have fun with their own dedicated attractions, water games, shows and baby dancing. It is also possible to organize private parties and corporate events.
