Castello di Zungoli

Overview

An ancient Norman castle from the 11th century, it passed to the Siginulfo family in the 13th century. The layout is quadrilateral with four cylindrical towers, one of which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1456. In 1825, it was transformed by Susanna di Sant'Eligio into a country residence.
