The opening, on 3 July at the Rossini Theatre, is entrusted to Näss (Les gens) by choreographer Fouad Boussouf, director of Le Phare – Centre chorégraphique national du Havre Normandie, presented in its national premiere. Inspired by the Moroccan musical tradition of Nass el Ghiwane, the show combines contemporary energy and cultural roots in a choral and acrobatic performance by seven dancers. The work explores the dialogue between past and present, blending the urban and spiritual dimensions. The central moment is on 11 July with the Festival within the festival, a marathon that interweaves shows and public participation. It opens in Piazza XX Settembre (7 pm) with Carmen. Nous sommes toustes des étoiles by Anna Basti, a project that involves non-professional citizens, through a free workshop for 20 participants selected through a public call, in a reinterpretation of the opera as a community experience and a reflection on the relationship between the body and public space. This is followed at the Teatro Cecchetti (8:30 pm) by Le Piquet by David Zagari, a solo piece that explores the relationship between body and gravity in a suspended and visionary dimension. The evening continues at the Teatro Annibal Caro (9:45 pm) with the company Dewey Dell – Agata Castellucci, Teodora Castellucci, Vito Matera and Demetrio Castellucci – and Shake the Cloud. Cantiere aperto su Dido & Aeneas, a reinterpretation of the Baroque opera through an electroacoustic musical reworking that transforms the original score while keeping its rhythmic and melodic matrix intact, the result of a creative residency. The Festival within a festival closes at the Church of San Francesco (10:30 pm) with Ad Libitum by Simon Le Borgne and Ulysse Zangs, an immersive performance that combines dance and music in an exploration of the expressive possibilities of desire, created with the support of Programme international de diffusion artistique (PIDA) – Institut Français. On 16 July, again at the Rossini Theatre, there will be the national premiere of Carnaval Vivaldi by Chiara Ameglio for the Balletto di Roma: a show inspired by the 18th-century carnival, with symbolic masks and a baroque atmosphere, accompanied by music by Vivaldi interwoven with original compositions by Luca Salvadori. The result is an evocative journey between reality and illusion. On 23 and 24 July, the overwhelming energy of Momix invades the Rossini Theatre with Botanica. Season 2, an evolution of the famous work by Moses Pendleton. Through light effects, fabrics and projections, the show transforms the stage into a constantly changing natural universe, where the dancers' bodies become plant elements and fantastic creatures, in a visual experience of great poetic impact. The festival ends on 2 August with Civitanova Danza on the road to Fermo, in the park of Villa Vitali in collaboration with the Municipality of Fermo for the Villa in Vita Fermo festival. On stage is Bach Dance Concert, born from the encounter between choreographer Roberto Zappalà and pianist Ramin Bahrami: a dialogue between dance and music that finds a common ground of expression in Bach's work, between formal rigour and emotion.
