From 27 to 28 June 2026, the Coppa Paolino Teodori, one of the most spectacular and prestigious hill climb events on the European motorsport calendar, returns to Ascoli Piceno. Now in its 65th edition, the race is a major international event and counts towards the European Hill Climb Championship (EHC), the Italian Supersalita Championship (CISS) and the Italian Hill Climb Championship (CIVM).
The route follows the climb from Colle San Marco to San Giacomo, a technical and challenging course featuring hairpin bends, varying gradients and fast sections that test drivers' precision and skill. This uphill challenge attracts world-class drivers and enthusiasts from all over Europe every year.
Organised by the Ascoli Piceno-Fermo Automobile Club and the AC Ascoli Piceno Sports Group, the Teodori Cup is synonymous with quality and tradition, bringing together sporting competition and promotion of the local area. Not surprisingly, the poster for the 2026 event reflects this very connection: the line of the climb, marked out by arrows and the colours of the Italian flag, becomes the symbol of the race, while the skyline of Ascoli Piceno, the 'City of a Hundred Towers', pays tribute to a setting rich in history and identity.
The 2026 edition also celebrates the sport's great figures, paying tribute to recent champions and their cars, which embody technical excellence and determination. During the race days, the Ascoli Piceno area comes alive with trials and competitions, giving the public the opportunity to experience the adrenaline of racing up close in a stunning natural setting.
Taking part means not only watching a top-level sporting event, but also discovering an area that combines mountain landscapes, historic villages and culture, making the race a truly all-round experience.
